Contractor & Project Stays

For contractors, project teams and crews working in East Sussex, Gildridge Estate offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for groups who need more than a standard hotel. With six bedrooms and eleven beds, the house sleeps up to 20 guests comfortably, with space for up to 24 by prior arrangement. The property is well suited to filming crews, construction teams, engineering projects, surveyors and other professionals working on extended assignments in the region.

Practical features make day-to-day life straightforward. The fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances allows the team to prepare meals together, while the large dining table, seating up to 24, makes shared meals easy. Starlink Wi-Fi throughout supports remote work, video calls and project coordination. Free on-site parking for up to four vehicles is included, with additional parking available on the estate for £25 per car, per night. Check-in is from 4:00 PM, with check-out at 10:00 AM.

The bedrooms — a mix of king, double and twin configurations — give team members a comfortable space to rest, with three bathrooms across the property. After long days on site, the hot tub, tennis court, table tennis, pool table and private grounds offer opportunities to unwind, while the rural Sussex setting provides a peaceful place to relax in the evening.

Located between Lewes and Eastbourne, with easy access to Brighton, the South Downs and the wider East Sussex area, Gildridge is well positioned for projects across the region. Long-term stays are welcome. Weekly and monthly discounts are available, and the team is happy to discuss bespoke arrangements for extended bookings.

A practical, comfortable base for teams who want somewhere welcoming to return to at the end of the day.
